In our Brive site we have installed a permanent asbestos removal unit for separating asbestos-containing materials or products.
This permanent unit, created for a 5-year framework contract with EDF in partnership with MTS, a subsidiary of VINCI, and BENEDETTI, enables us to remove asbestos and to clean in one single place, before disposal of the processed materials. 

It was designed to remove asbestos from penstocks and all scrap metal from hydraulic dams, measuring up to 6m long by 3m wide.
These materials coated with paint or other material possibly containing asbestos, are stripped using an ultra-high pressure (UHP) jet of 2,500 bars then recovered as scrap metal by our group.

This facility is also built to meet scrap metal depollution standards: lead, grease, various paints, etc.
